Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has finally disclosed his favorite track from Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD). The 3-time Super Bowl champion, aged 34, revealed that he might be a little biased toward the song “So High School,” which is speculated to be about him.
Swift surprised fans by announcing that “TTPD” was actually a double album, including 15 bonus tracks in addition to the original 16. While most of the album delves into Swift’s breakups with Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, two tracks—namely “So High School” and “The Alchemy”—seemingly nod to her romance with Kelce.
“The Alchemy” cleverly weaves football references, mentioning touchdowns, teams, warming benches, winning streaks, trophies, cheers, and even the aspiration to be the greatest in the league.
In “So High School,” Swift captures the feeling of new romance, reminiscent of teenage years. The bridge also alludes to the moment when Swift and Kelce reunited after he secured his third Super Bowl victory in February.
Kelce, fresh from watching Swift’s sold-out “Eras” tour in Europe, has been open about their relationship since they went public in September 2023. A resurfaced interview revealed that Kelce once had to choose between Swift, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande for a playful game of “kiss, marry, or kill.” His decision? To kill the “No Tears Left To Cry” singer, marry the “American Idol” judge, and kiss his now-girlfriend.
The duo’s love story continues to capture attention, proving that even in the world of celebrities, romance can be as unpredictable as a game-winning touchdown
