The Daily Mail has reported that Omid Scobie's UK agent sent a draft manuscript of his book, Endgame, to a Dutch publisher, Xander Uitgevers, which contained the names of two 'royal racists' ¹. This revelation contradicts Scobie's earlier statement that he had 'never submitted a book that had those names in it' ¹. The Dutch translator, Saskia Peeters, who worked on the book, confirmed that the original manuscript contained the names of the royals, but she did not include them in the Dutch version of the book ².

It is understood that a final proof of the 400-page tome was later sent, but the translator had been working from an earlier draft ¹. The inclusion of the names led to 5,000 copies of the book, called 'Final Battle', being withdrawn from sale on the bookshelves and pulped ¹.

The revelation comes as Buckingham Palace is considering legal action after King Charles and the Princess of Wales were named as the senior royals who allegedly made remarks about Archie's skin colour before he was born ¹.
