The couple, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy earlier this year, have not shared any photos or details of their daughter, who is reportedly named Ruby.

According to a celebrity psychologist, Dr. Jenn Mann, there could be several reasons why the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is choosing to keep her baby away from the public eye. Dr. Mann, who has not worked with Kourtney personally, told us that the 43-year-old may be feeling protective of her newborn, especially after the intense media scrutiny she faced during her pregnancy.

"Kourtney has been very vocal about the challenges of being pregnant in the spotlight, and how she felt judged and criticized for her weight gain, her fashion choices, and her relationship with Travis," Dr. Mann said. "She may be feeling vulnerable and insecure, and wanting to shield her baby from the same kind of pressure and negativity."

Dr. Mann also suggested that Kourtney may be trying to respect the privacy and wishes of her other three children, Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, whom she shares with her ex-partner Scott Disick. "Kourtney has always been very conscious of how her fame affects her kids, and how they may feel about having a new sibling who gets a lot of attention," Dr. Mann said. "She may be waiting for them to adjust and bond with their baby sister, and to give them a say in whether they want to share her with the world or not."

Another possible reason why Kourtney is keeping her baby under wraps is that she may be following the advice of her husband, who is known for being more private and reserved than his wife. "Travis has been very supportive and loving of Kourtney, but he also comes from a different background and has a different perspective on fame and family," Dr. Mann said. "He may be encouraging Kourtney to take a break from social media and the spotlight, and to focus on their relationship and their blended family."

Dr. Mann added that while fans may be eager to see Kourtney's baby, they should respect her decision and give her time and space to share when she is ready. "Kourtney has every right to keep her baby away from the public eye, and to do what she thinks is best for her and her family," Dr. Mann said. "She is under no obligation to share her personal life with anyone, and she may be happier and healthier by keeping some things private."
