Download our app A businesswoman from Limuru, Kiambu county was allegedly gang-raped by armed people at night. The victim reported that she was waiting for her gate to be opened when the gang arrived. She had called her house girl to open the gate but her mobile phone had been switched off. The businesswoman then decided to sleep inside her car at the entrance of the gate.
A few moments later, a gang of two armed men approached the car and broke the windows. She raised an alarm but no one came to her rescue. In the meantime, the two men forced their way into the car and then dragged her out of the car. The gang threatened to kill her if she continued raising an alarm. They dragged her to the nearby bush and raped her.
After committing the act, the daring thugs went back to the victim's car and stole an unknown amount of money and her personal effects.
The victim filed a report at a Police Station in Kiambu. Police have since launched a hunt for the thugs.
